I like gween tea
Yes but I think we have already had this thread.
There was a tea discussion in an unrelated thread!
Hmm, so are you saying that yuudo raikku samu moa gween tee?
where's the sound…
Does the nen support sound webms?
why do they animate the mouth like that when they speak English??
Speaking english puts an immense strain on the japanese face.
I love earl grey!
My favourite tea at the moment is probably just plain green tea. I also like rooibos for when I want something without caffeine.
I drank some tea some tie ago!
I should buy more green tea. Genmaicha would be good. http://www.yuuki-cha.com/
is a very good site for green tea.
Ive just finished a cake of pu ehr, it was WONDERFUL. Having it on the side with and then after a meal of red curry and rice makes that my very favorite meal. Plus, I can re-brew day or two old leaves and add milk and sugar for a tasty iced tea thing.
Even though its incredibly hot, I had a few cups of tea yesterday. But, apparently, hot drinks when its hot isnt actually a terrible idea.
It makes your body think it's hotter than it actually is, so it overcompensates by sweating more. It doesn't really work if it's very humid and your sweat can't evaporate as well.
They mentioned the phenomenon on Railgun, iirc.
a fan blowing air can take care of the evaporation if its humid.
I finally got a kettle so I can drink my tea without a microwave!
Congratulations! Is it a kettle you put on the stove or an electric kettle?
its an electric one it took a while to get working because I got the cheapest I could find but it boils water nice and fast!
I got it to go with a fancy mug I bought that I found out shouldn't be microwaved.
Don't fall for them, anon! Mixing a million different things into tea isn't fancy, its crass. Fancy for tea is totally pure
. A few things in is alright, but its still less like that as tea.
Though, tea with loads of things in it can still be nice if thought of more as another drink based on tea. If spice tea is good like that, other mixes of tea with loads of other stuff brewed in milk can also be.
I was watching Strike Witches and Yoshika was chastised for slurping her tea, as it's not polite. The subs only said "tea" but I clearly heard 紅茶 which made me wonder if it's ok to slurp お茶. I googled it and it turns out that Asians consider it polite to slurp tea/ramen since it means you're enjoying it more, which makes sense because it actually brings out the flavor more. Professional wine tasters do similar things like swishing but it's not as easy to swish hot drinks.
Politeness can gaze jealously at my undamaged burn-free tongue.
I don't know how people can drink tea so hot without burning their tongues. For this reason, I drink tea warm whenever I have it.
Maybe there's some sort of technique to it.
slurping! the technique is blowing on it and slurping!!
There will not be any blowing or slurping of anything in this thread!
What are you, the blowing and slurping police?!
Nen anime princesses must uphold a level of neniquette.
Well, I'm going to blow and slurp whenever I like and there's nothing you can do about it !!!
Be more mindful of your manners
im making my second cup today right now
What kind of tea cups do you guys use for tea?
I bought some pomegranate tea too today, and a bunch of other different kinds like berry ones, citrus ones, and peach. They are all so good. Now I just need to get some nice tea cups.
Big mugs for regular builders tea, fancy teacups for fancy tea I'd brew in a nice teapot.
I just have mugs but I was thinking about looking at teacups the next time im at the secondhand store
I have an old English Tea cup and saucer, the typical white china with blue decorations, I got a modern white and red cup that is bigger and has a nice pattern too but the pattern is on the inside of the cup which is annoying.
slurping my green tea!
i nice big mug of milky green tea and i leave the bags in there to steep while i drink it
how do you brew gween tea with milk?
by adding milk to it after you brew it, right?
No, you just brew it with milk instead of water.
