Does /nen/ play tabletop games?
I found out about this cute
2hu game but you need 4 people to play it and we can't even get more than 3 people for 100% OJ… http://danmaku.party/bonus/play/
Please post in this thread if you play or want to play tabletop games with frens!
Online card games like Shadowverse are also welcome!
Who has the highest cute
100% OJ is on sale again for a super low price. If you want to pick it up and have some fun
with other nenfrens, now's a good time!>>21685
Wow, great call henri!
maki exploiting the nishikino fortune…
Maki is just an inverse of Honk with higher vocal stat
But UMIMI is for the PRO players
I have OJ but have never played it multiplayer. I did a bit of the story mode though. I also tried a free play and died on the very first move… Something tells me this is a game where things can go drastically wrong very quick… >>21688
Maki has the same cute
ness as Honk? Blasphemy!
さすが真姫, the true princess
Yeah a 6 roll vs a 1 roll can turn the game around almost immediately.
It's nice to play a few rounds from time to time. Just don't take it super seriously or you'll have a bad time. There are characters that are clearly superior to others.
It's mostly luck based so you have to hope the dice don't screw you over but it's super fun when you're playing with frens!
We usually play around Fridays and sometimes on Sunday!
Apparently there's an actual Touhou RPG!
Here's a media fire link to the rulebook for anyone interested: http://www.mediafire.com/file/ti5wnh9xm7xh4t1/%5B%E6%9D%B1%E6%96%B9TRPG%5D+Danmaku+Yuugi+-flowers-.pdf
Also, we might start playing on TTS again starting this weekend!
This seems really fun. Although it also seems quite complicated, but that might just be because I'm not experienced with TRPGs
Yeah it seems really complicated to me too but ive never done a dnd before so maybe that is even more complicated
Are we going to try to play this on saturday? If so I'll try to figure out my character to play
I've never played a TRPG before, it might be better to start off with something rules light like Maid RPG, to be honest!https://www.docdroid.net/12hwp/maid-rpg.pdf
That has 150 more pages than the flower rpg…
Even though it has more pages, it is mechanically simpler than Flowers because Maid RPG has less numbers and most of the details are made up as you play and the core mechanic is simply 1d6 * relevant attribute.
I've tried playing D&D a couple of times and it didn't really go to well. I just don't have the creative spirit and role play ability to get into tabletop RPGs.
Nice work. I figured Ran or Yukari would have mask monsters.
lobby 100% ota
pass 1% fun
get the flip in here
How was gencon, what type of stuff did you do and how many days were you there?
I've always wanted to go to a convention but I don't have anyone to go with.
So far it's been really fun, but theres still friday, saturday and maybe sunday! I might not go for long sunday, if at all though since the drive home will be pretty long.
I was originally planning on going alone but thankfully someone else wanted to come with me, but I think it still would have been really fun alone
Steam is having a board game sale this weekend. Maybe we can find something interesting to play.
100% OJ is a part of it if you still don't have it yet. Might be a little awkward to jump into currently with the co-op event going on.
Scythe and Armello look interesting, Scythe has some cool
I've also played Gremlins Inc. before and it was pretty fun although I haven't played it in a while.
Tabletop Simulator is on sale too if anyone wants to get that!
I played a bit of Armello during a free weekend. It was pretty interesting, though it seemed like one victory condition was much easier to go for than all the others. Didn't pick it up because I didn't have any friends to play it with, and I hear public matches are usually terrible. Since some unlocks are tied to your online rank, people would queue up with their friends, team up against the other players, and try to ensure one of them won.
That was a year ago though, and maybe they've fixed all that.
From what I could gather it looks like they removed the option to queue up with friends, so I guess if you're playing in public matches you play against random people. But getting teamed up against by other players still seems to be an issue despite that, since you can just queue up at the same time as your friends and you'll probably end up in the same game.
Yeah I figure it would still be easy enough to join up with some friends. Not like the game has thousands of players.
Well if people are interested I could get it. I already own gremlins inc too. Looks like they added a new board since the last time I played.
Sure! I'm okay with giving it a try!
I got to play Root which is really fun and cute
. Every player gets to be an animal in the forest and you fight to win control. I think it would be really fun to play together if somebody add a free mod to tabletop sim>>26058
They had tables out with scythe today but i didnt end up trying it since it looked really complicated.
There already appears to be a mod for Root on the steam workshop! It's amazing how many games are available on Tabletop Sim!
I've heard that Scythe was pretty hard and that the video game version doesn't really explain it very well either...
I decided to check out grimmwood last night, really interesting community focused game that plays out similar enough to a boardgame. Maybe someone else here might be interested so I figured I'd post about it.
! They already sould out of the physical copy both times I checked. The card art is really nice and probably my favorite part
The multiplayer aspect sounds interesting! It says that games take place over 24 hours though? Does that mean it's like one of those free browser mmos?
Nice job. Mokous art looks super cool
Thank you! I might make some more this weekend if I find some time!
I might get this for Talisman since it looked interesting although it has a ton of DLC.
Yeah I was looking in to it during the last sale, since it was only $0.99. But then I saw the DLC tab.
Guess it's not much different than OJ in that regard though...
I bought the bundle!
Talisman, Mysterium and the super hero game are all pretty fun even in single player although Mysterium is probably a lot more fun if you're playing with real people!
I haven't tried Ticket to Ride yet and I've already player Armello before and think it's really good!
Maybe if some more /nen/frens pick up the bundle we could play some of the games together!
I picked it up as well
Let me know if you want to play together sometime!
4 /nen/frens picked up the bundle so far! If anyone else decides to buy it let us know!
