Going to try to eliminate all grains, carbohydrates and gluten from my diet for a month or two. Last month I fasted (dry for 3 days/7 with salt water) for 10 days in order to attempt to improve the state of my skin and immune system in general. I’ve had plaque psoriasis covering my body from head to toe for the past 10 years, been prescribed numerous cortisteroid applicants and gels which have had a negligible impact at best. That being said, the impact of the fasting has been astonishing. Hopefully this elimination diet combined with periodic fasting will help me continue to improve my health while hopefully sorting out which foods actually cause the inflammation in the first place.
I also want to be able to do 2 sets of one-legged squats, with 10 reps in each. Currently I can only do 1.

Thank you. I’m still not sure if it’s whole carbohydrates, gluten, or refined carbohydrates. After reading Grain Brain by Dr. David Perlmutter, although I’m having extreme cravings for carbohydrates, the contents of that book have convinced me that it will be much more beneficial to remove them from my diet entirely. I’ve heard a lot of anecdotal accounts of eating largely high fat meat combined with prolonged fasting as being great cures for autoimmune disorders, and improving overall health in general. I hope it works. Sorry for blogging so much.

I didn't cut out carbs and grains entirely from my diet, but just removing bread made wonders for my weight and my gut health. Good carbohydrates like potatoes are always good but we generally eat too much carbs, from bad sources.

I don’t really consider potatoes “good” carbohydrates.. they trigger huge surges in blood sugar levels. Regardless, I hope to go meat-only for a month and if I seen a substantial change I’ll begin to incorporate potential ‘problem’ foods back into my diet, i.e. starchy foods. Thanks for listening and I hope you can improve your health further, too.

You should try fasting. Dr. Jason Fung has written an excellent book on the topic entitled The Complete Guide to Fasting. Eliminating sugar is always a good thing but combined with a consistent fasting regiment you’ll begin to expedite your weight loss.
The Snake Diet on YouTube is another content creator who makes videos on fasting but he is a little aggressive and his excessive swearing might be offputting. Still, I definitely recommend attempting fasting.

It's not for everybody I think. I have tried it twice but it was a miserable experience, I ended up getting sick and vomiting bile. I think it depends on lifestyle, muscle mass and fat. If you train and have a reasonable amount of muscle your body will demand more than what it can draw from itself.

just like every weekend i binged on snacks and went from -5 pounds of my average weight to +5 pounds. If I could just put down the snacks or keep exercising on weekends I might actually be able to reach my target...

On another note, I'm going to start keeping a diary because i think getting my day to day thoughts out on paper (txt file) will help me

I'm going to work more on drawing. I feel it's the only long term project I have that has the potential to manifest itself in an outwardly productive manner. It's a large endeavour but if I draw for an hour a day and reward myself with ginger beers each Friday I should be able to achieve some level of competency eventually.

There are only two causes of all disease:
1. deficiency
When you are deficient the body can't maintain its faculties or metabolize properly. Just look at scurvy(Vitamin C) or other such vitamin and mineral deficiency symptoms.
2. toxicity
When you have things in your body such as xenobiotics and heavy metals they interfere with the body's cellular processes preventing it from maintaining its faculties or metabolizing properly.
When the immune system is not in full working order you become prone to illness(bacteria, parasites, viruses) and mutations(cancer).
A truly healthy person is never sick.

This is why it's not about counting calories or staying away from certain foods.
Rather it's about how much nutrition you are receiving from food you eat or how tainted and rancid your food is.
The problem is most foods today have been both denatured and poisoned as part of conventional industrial agriculture methodology.
Even the soil they are grown in matters as plants will readily absorb xenobiotic chemicals to the extent that certain plants are used as phytoremediants.
For example, conventionally grown American rice contains arsenic levels so high it is considered harmful for infant consumption.
This is troubling as many conventional farmers use biosolids (residential & industrial sewer waste) and artificial fertilizers to cut costs.
Pesticides are used for greater yields. Herbicides are used on crops such as wheat so that they will give up their seeds for a timely harvest.
Food processing methods under extremely high heats cause vegetable oils to oxidize becoming rancid and carcinogenic.

The goal of a fast is to stop digestion so that bodily energy isn't spent digesting and can be reallocated for healing purposes such as metabolizing xenobiotics. Nutrients (vitamins, enzymes, minerals, proteins etc.) from triturated fruits/vegetables and diluted clay/ electrolyte mixtures are directly absorbed by the body while in the stomach. Just this spring I fasted on fresh cold pressed organic vegetable juice for 50 days, I wasn't even fat. If you are going on a fast longer than 7 days I would recommend taking periodic blood tests to check what you are deficient in so you don't fall ill or damage your body. For these longer fasts enemas are required to expel bodily wastes, coffee enemas will cause the liver to release it's contents so you don't die from organ failure. Sure in the end I was skinny but I didn't come out of the fast looking like some concentration camp survivor - that requires a consistent deficiency of food, water, and proper nutrients for 6 months or more until some disease sets in.

>>26915
I would not recommend the snake diet, it's cheap but not ideal.
What's good is that he uses electrolytes, plain water fasting can be very harmful for someone who's sick.
To me it just shows how much abuse a person can take long before they start dying.
So yeah, no one here is starving no matter how much they complain.
Instead I would recommend Dr. Paavo Airola's books on juice fasting

>>26917
All animals instinctively fast when ill, you most likely weren't doing it right.
The reason most people get obese today is because many xenobiotic chemicals and heavy metals are lipid soluble so the body surrounds them in fat so as to prevent organ failure. This is why people feel sick when they start loosing weight or fasting.

Just a couple thoughts,
Good drawing technique revolves around drawing properly positioned primitive shapes in 3D space.
Try creating figures in blender using only primitives for use as reference or draw over images for help with perfect perspective.
Don't get into the bad habits of drawing lines piece by piece in a sketchy manner or creating dark hard to erase lines. Each line should be an easily erasable single perfect stroke.
Good luck! ;)

Without these technologies and others like it, most (i.e. more than half) of the humans alive today would starve to death.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haber_process
>Due to its dramatic impact on the human ability to grow food, the Haber process served as the "detonator of the population explosion", enabling the global population to increase from 1.6 billion in 1900 to 7.7 billion by November 2018.
It's funny not a lot of people know about this guy, but if I had to pick a single most important person who influenced why the world is the way it is today, it would be Haber.
